If you need to get the email to the PDA, you will need either Bluetooth, IrDA or a cable connected to the phone, or a WiFi card (and access) for the Ipaq. Leaving Bluetooth on will drain your battery much faster. I don't know the battery capcity for the Ipaq but BT will run it down.
